Welcome to my site. I hope you enjoy looking at my paintings and drawings, most of which are for sale. If you would like to buy or use the images, or discuss commissions, please get in touch via the contact link.  Some of the images are available for sale as greetings cards.

I have drawn and painted more for than 40 years, when time allowed from my career as a journalist. I was born in Scotland and began work at the now iconic Jackie Magazine in the 1960s, before moving to London to write for pop music publications. From the 1980s, I wrote about residential property and interiors for The London Evening Standard, Daily Mirror and The Telegraph.  I am currently the Shopping writer for online magazine High50.

In the 1990s, I attended drawing courses with the in house artist at London Zoo, the  talented - and sadly now late  - David Boys, and then was fortunate to be tutored in pen and ink by artist and etcher Dorothy Lloyd Griffiths. Since then, I have studied watercolour, tutored by Linda Travers Smith at Bucks Adult Learning classes. Through Adult Learning, I have been able to exhibit some of my work at the annual art show and at the High Wycombe library gallery.
